The AIR Index – Rating For Euro 6 Cars Clouds Infographic
This infographic provides a visual representation of the lifetime emissions of NOx for cars rated in each of the AIR Index bands A (the cleanest) to E (the dirtiest), taking into account the typical lifetime of a new car (14 years) and its average annual mileage.
Examples tested by AIR have shown a car with an AIR Index rating of ‘E’ can produce up to 20 times more NOx during its lifetime than a car with an ‘A’ rating.
